Certified physical therapist, Pilates instructor, and volunteer in the Ethiopian community.
Graduate of Haifa University with a Bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy (B.P.T.). She furthered her education in the field of exercising and completed a Pilates instructors course. Over the years, she acquired experience in group instruction, respiratory work, and working with the elderly.
Anet acquired her initial work experience working with children in social-educational projects through “Nitzanim” (subsidized after-school social program) and the Leo Baeck Education Center. The work included mediation between children and parents in Ethiopian families, providing homework help, preparing social activities, and individual assistance for students experiencing difficulties in English and mathematics. From 2007-2009, she worked at a leadership program, operated group games and art activities for small children, and led a writing group for 1st-2nd graders.
In 2010, she began working with mentally ill adults in Hadera and was also involved in instructing Pilates groups and orthopedic physiotherapy groups at Clalit Kupat Cholim Health Services in Netanya.
In addition to her professional work, Anet devotes time for volunteering in various frameworks: she began volunteering in the PERACH tutoring program during her university studies, and continued at the Israel Cancer Association, the Ethiopian National Project in Hadera, and at a special-ed. preschool in Haifa.
